Song: Ben Cocks – So cold This montage is all over the place it started out with a theme and then I just really lost it. Not happy at all with how it turned out. 🙁
In this video I tried to show how gymnasts are strong, get through the hard times and perform these amazing skills.
There are so many montages like this on YouTube, but I really felt like I needed to make one. This montage is about “behind the scenes” of gymnastics competitions that people watch on TV, gymnastics takes perseverance, hard work, and a lot of dedication, which is why I made this video to show that although gymnastics is a gorgeous sport, the training is tough.
“Even the best fall down sometimes..” This video isn’t to show the “failures” of these gymnasts, but just to show that they are in fact human. They make mistakes, they fall, and they get upset. Nonetheless these athletes are amazing at what they do and never fail to get back up and win again.
Yes its gymnastics, but something all LSAT Folks need to hear. So I did a video edit. Its cheesy I know… BUT you can just listen and not watch 🙂 I don’t know who created the original video but it comes from a Sept 15 post by It was posted by Gym Blog Central (https://www.facebook.com/GymBlogCentral) I couldn’t find it on YouTube, so wanted to share with some LSAT inspired edits. If this is yours let me know and I will give credit 🙂
All this footage was taken from one gymnastic meet of SUU vs. Utah State last weekend. Due to unpleasantly colored seating we did the video in black and white. Then, after hearing an amazing pre-game speech from SUU professor Grant Corser, we decided to add his words to the video, giving us this final product. All slow mo shots were done using T3i @ 60fps and all normal shots done on 5D Mark II @24fps. Lenses used: Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Ultra Wide Angle Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Telephoto Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Standard [More]
